Imported from the United States, a full restoration was carried out in france and just finished this year. The six-cylinder motor of 2912 cm, 3 double SU carburettors was entirely restored and functions perfectly. The gear box was also restored, just like the body and the frame which was sanded beforehand. The clutch, the brakes, as well as the undercarriage are also new. The bichrome, Metallic Ice Blue and Old English White, paint work is new. The body work is in a perfect condition. All the chromes were restored. You will also note the perfect condition of the blue imitation leather interior upholstery with white braiding. The vehicle is equipped with chrome wheels, and wooden MOTO-LITA steering wheel. A great classic,
its timeless shape makes it one of the most beautiful English cars of the post-war period.

This excellent example of the Austin Healey 3000 Mk. I is presented in a two-tone colour scheme of Healey Blue over Ivory and is complemented by a dark blue interior. Treated to an extensive ground up restoration, the Healey has had huge amounts of money spent on it since import from the US. The restoration process has been photographically documented throughout and includes photos of the rotisserie restoration to the body, being stripped back to bare metal, the extensive engine and gearbox rebuild, the suspension rebuild and restoration of all the mechanics including the carburettors. The attention to detail was second to none and the result of the works is a superb running and driving example. Having been used occasionally since then, the Healey has been serviced by specialists Rawles Engineering and has been maintained regardless of cost.
This 3000 presents in excellent condition, the coachwork is in very good order as is the underside, interior, engine bay and chromework, all showing very little age. Offered with a sizeable history file detailing all the works, various documents detailing its early history in the US, restoration photos, a dedicated Instagram page following the cars restoration and maintenance and its own website with all its details and photos. Also present in the file are various old MoT test records and the current V5C registration document. This is one of the best examples we have seen, and it is ready to be enjoyed immediately by its new owner in the coming summer months. Consigned by Daniel Godin
