This 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk I was refurbished under previous ownership in Healey Blue over blue leather upholstery, and it is powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes 15″ knock-off wire wheels, front disc brakes, a tonneau cover, a hood scoop, detachable side windows, a Smiths heater, and front bucket seats. Acquired by the current owner in 2025, this 3000 Mk I is now offered on dealer consignment in Pennsylvania with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, service records, and a Maryland title.
The car was finished in Healey Blue from the factory, and it was refurbished under previous ownership. Exterior details include a tonneau cover, a hood scoop, detachable side windows, bright trim, and chrome bumpers with overriders.
The 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with 165-series Michelin XAS tires that show 2016 production codes. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The left front hub and the brake master cylinder were replaced, and the front brakes were overhauled under previous ownership, and the rear brakes were adjusted in 2023.
The 2+2 cabin features bucket seats trimmed in Blue leather with Ivory White piping, and interior appointments include door storage pockets, a Smiths heater, and Austin-Healey-branded rubber floor mats.
The banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths white-dial instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a combination gauge displaying oil pressure and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 35 of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.9-liter inline-six featured dual SU HD6 carburetors from the factory for a rating of 137 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. PerTronix electronic ignition has been installed, and a replacement fuel pump was installed in 2017. Work in 2023 included resealing the valve cover, adjusting the valves, and replacing the distributor rotor.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with Laycock de Normanville electric overdrive. A used replacement differential was sourced, resealed, and installed by McLeod’s British Cars of Maumelle, Arkansas.
The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate lists identification numbers, colors, equipment, and dispatch to the USA on 29 July 1960.
The current Maryland title for the car lists a “Duplicate or Corrected” notation.
