This 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mk III is finished in blue with a black soft top over black leather upholstery, and power is provided by a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Details include 15″ knock-off wire wheels, front disc brakes, and a black tonneau cover in addition to front and rear lap belts, woodgrain trim, and a Panasonic cassette player. This 3000 Mk III was purchased by the current owner in 2026 and is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, with a driver’s handbook, a repair manual, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in blue, and there is evidence of a prior repaint. The paintwork is complemented by a replacement black soft top, bright trim, and chrome bumpers. A black tonneau cover is included in the sale.
Knock-off 15″ wire wheels are mounted with Nexen SB-802 tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The 2+2 cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black leather with white piping in addition to front and rear lap belts, wood trim, and a Panasonic AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths black-dial instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a combination gauge. A Sunpro readout for oil pressure is mounted below the dashboard to the right. The five-digit odometer shows 7k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.9-liter inline-six featured dual SU HD8 carburetors from the factory for a rating of 150 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque. The engine oil was changed in 2026.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
