This 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mk III was refurbished circa 2012, and its red finish is complemented by a black soft top and tan upholstery. Power is provided by a 2.9-liter inline-six that is backed by a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car has 15″ knock-off wire wheels, front disc brakes, a hood scoop, and fender-mounted side mirrors in addition to wood interior trim, Smiths gauges, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. This 3000 Mk III was acquired by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, in 2026 and is now offered with refurbishment photos and an Oklahoma title.
The car has been refinished in red and fitted with a replacement black soft top. Other details include a hood scoop, fender-mounted side mirrors, bright trim, and chrome bumpers with overriders.
Knock-off 15″ wire wheels are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The 2+2 cabin features tan upholstery, a center console, wood dashboard trim, a wood shift knob, and a locking glovebox.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths black-dial instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles.
The 2.9-liter inline-six featured dual SU HD8 carburetors from the factory for a rating of 150 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with Laycock de Normanville electric overdrive.
A collection of photos showing stages of refurbishment work is presented in the gallery.
The Oklahoma title carries a “classic” notation.
