1964 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MK III
50 000 - 80 000 €
The example offered for sale is a 1964 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III originally from the United States and imported to France in 2014. In 2019, it underwent a major restoration costing over €100,000, reflecting a clear commitment to restoring this car to a very high standard of presentation and performance. During this restoration, the car was customized according to our collector’s wishes: aluminum louvered hood, side exhaust, reinforced camshafts, electronic ignition, triple Weber carburetors, and power steering. A summary of the work performed is available upon request.
Following this restoration, the car has continued to receive regular maintenance, as evidenced by the extensive file of
invoices that accompanies it. This file allows for tracking the vehicle’s history through 2024, the date of the last documented service in the file.
This Austin-Healey also comes with its certificate issued by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. The file further includes two expert reports, conducted in 2021 and 2025 respectively, providing additional insight into the car’s condition over the past few years. Thanks to its extensive restoration, documented history, and numerous period-correct features, this Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III represents a prime opportunity for enthusiasts of British roadsters.

Restoration start photos are from a sale (ebay.co.uk) in November 2014. The car was in Leicestershire, England at that time. Earlier, it was advertised for sale with a miscellaneous collection of cars and parts on eBay out of Yellow Springs, Ohio in January 2009 and is known to have resided in Oakwood, Ohio previously
