Seen on eBay, April 2007. Seller's description reads:
"You are bidding on a 1964 Austin Healey 3000 MK II convertible with a four speed manual transmission with rare optional overdrive and odometer showing 61,717 miles. The exterior of this MK II is immaculate with a red paint finish, vertical front chrome grill, black convertible top with no signs of damage, Kumho 165/80R15 tires on 15 inch original chrome spoke wheels with spare tire located in the trunk, all complete front & rear bumpers, original badges remain on the car, and black boot cover is located in the trunk. The interior has a four seating design with black leather seats & red linings. This Austin Healey is equipped with a six cylinder engine with two 1-3/4 in SU HD6 carbs giving 130 BHP and a top speed of 114 MPH, front disc brakes, original steering wheel, optional overdrive, manual climate control, battery cut off switch, wind-up windows, and floor shifter. Dit is een Austin Healey 3000 Mk2 (BJ7).
chassis nummer is : HBJ7L-23244.
Een bijzonder model uit de serie van de "Big Healey's".
Deze Mk2 modellen zijn slechts 1 jaar in productie geweest (6000 stuks gebouwd), voordat de bekende MK3 (BJ8) geïntroduceerd werd.
De combinatie van de "convertible" soft-top, de ramen in de deuren en het oude originele dashboard maken het een zeer geliefd model.
Deze rode MK2 is uit Amerika geïmporteerd en verkeerd in zeer goede staat.
De lak is 99% perfect en het zwarte interieur is zeer mooi. Nieuwe chromen spaakwielen.
Technisch in zeer goede staat en volledig origineel.
Helaas hebben we verder geen historie bij de auto.
De Healey wordt afgeleverd met een Nederlands kenteken en een uitgebreide service beurt zodat u klaar bent voor het nieuwe seizoen.
