Originally Built in February 1966, Austin Healey 3000 Mk III chassis H-BJ8-L/35133. Full restoration by JME Healeys in 1995, it was repainted in its current colour scheme of British Racing Green with black leather interior. This final and most powerful incarnation of the Big Healey has had a full lead free conversion, and is fitted with uprated fuel pump, Kenlowe fan, alternator, electronic ignition and overdrive.

This a structurally superb car with excellent panel gaps and fitted with its original outer body work. Restored interior with correct vinyl seats and dashboard. The engine was machined and rebuilt with a Stage 1 Cylinder Head and Fast Road Camshaft. It has excellent oil pressure hot or cold, runs smoothly and does not overheat. the gearbox is fitted with Tulip straight cut gears and an uprated overdrive. Running on Original 2" SU carbs. A hardly used and well looked after car with 2085miles from 1995 rebuild. Seemingly ideal car for touring and light competition. This desirable last-of-the-line 3000 MkIII is offered for sale with UK V5C Registration Document, Heritage certificate, current and past MOT certificates.

Fully documented rebuild and maintenance since 1995.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
