Seen on eBay, April 2007. Seller's description:

"This is a nice older restoration AH 3000 MKIII. The car has a brand new convertible top, new exhaust tubular headers and a new woodrim wheel. The vehicle has been converted to negative ground and all the electrics work. It needs a new wiper switch (the plastic handle is broken) and a new switch will be provided with the car. The car has Dunlop 60 spoke chrome wire wheels and Pirelli P8 185/65 radial tires. The car DOES NOT vibrate due to unbalance wheels and tires. The engine is very good, holding 60 psi at speed and close to 40 psi at idle. The gearbox and overdrive are very good. The car has rebuilt front shocks. The brakes are good. The servo has been replaced with an aftermarket type. The car is solid, but not 100% rust free. There are a couple tiny areas on the floors and the trunk floor. Nothing major. The sills are good. The body is very straight. The front and rear shrouds look perfect. The trunk lid is not rusted on the lower lip. The interior is original excluding the carpet. The seats are not ripped. The interior overall is very good. The car does have the rear fold down squab. There is some very minor pitting on the top grill surround. The chrome on the bumpers is very good and they are very straight. The car runs great and starts without a problem. The paint is not perfect and has a couple of minor spots where there is some “crazing”. Here again, nothing major. The car was painted in the late 1980’s. The car comes with a nice original black boot cover and an original tonneau that needs some TLC. There is a minor chip in the windscreen and a slight “wiper” mark on the driver’s side. There is no visible rust on the body. This is a nice runner/driver car that can be enjoyed just the way it is. It is not a “10” car. If you are looking for a good, solid, older restoration car, that you can jump in and drive, this is the car. I am selling this car with no implied warranty, “as described”."

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
