According to the BMIHT Heritage Certificate, this LHD Austin Healey 3000 MK3 Phase 2 is a 'matching numbers car' - Chassis number: H-BJ8-L/33194, Engine number: 29K-RU-H/7956, Body number: 78110 and was built on 29/30th September 1965 and exported to Miami, Florida, USA on October 6th 1965. The car remained in the USA until being purchased by the last Norwegian owner from Missouri, USA in March 2002.

It was shipped directly to Norway and registered there and over the years various works and upgrades have been carried out including the fitting of a new Stainless Steel Exhaust system, Aluminium Petrol Tank, new rear Leaf Springs, new electronic Fuel Pump, new Steering Box and lots of other trim and ancillary items
    .
Having worked in the UK for a few years, the car was brought to the UK and further works and servicing was carried out here including the fitting of a new 'Lumenition' electronic ignition, a new 'Kenlowe' Fan kit and new front Shock Absorbers.

Finished in gleaming Black with Red ambla trim, a new Black mohair Soft Top, Black vinyl Hood bag, Red carpets, 2912cc straight six Engine, 4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive and Chrome Wire Wheels. The speedometer is showing 82,600 miles which we believe to be genuine based upon confirmation from the American owner who had owned the car for many years before selling it in 2002.

The car has just been completely repainted by ourselves and registered here with the period number plate DSO 564C. The car is in fantastic condition throughout and drives beautifully.
