Car to be at auction 10/13
    www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

    Auction description:
    Lot 113 - 1966 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8
    Estimate: £32,000 - £36,000
    Registration Number: GWV 82D
    Chassis Number: HBJ8L33189
Finished in the classic Healey colour scheme of Ice Blue over Old English White with a blue interior; the owner informs us that the car is in good condition throughout with the body and paint work as excellent having undergone a very expensive re paint and fitted with a new blue hood.

Supplied with a V5 document and current MoT certificate valid until September 2014, the vendor reports that the car boasts good oil pressure, never overheats and is completely reliable. Once overdrive is engaged, this car offers relaxed fast speed cruising.

It remains a fine example of perhaps the most recognised British sports car of its era and represents a hugely rewarding car to own.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
