Current bid $15,201 reserve not met, 7 bids, 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
1966 Austin Healey 3000 MK III. Original and very well maintained. Recently purchased from a long term owner of 35 years. 63468 original miles Just Vermont State inspected and tuned. Runs extremely well and strong. Quiet gearbox, overdrive works perfectly. Braking system, charging system, cooling system and all hydraulics operate as intended. All lights work properly. Original wire wheels need to be blasted and painted. Or replaced. 4 matching Michelin XZX tires in good shape. Original interior in very nice condition. Seats, panels, carpet and dash pad in great shape. Usual small cracks in dash veneer but still looks presentable. Glass is as new, no scratches or chips. Original top is torn and tired, barely serviceable. A new high quality top is included in the sale. Excellent top boot. Frame and outriggers rust free, straight and true. Excellent floors and undercarriage, 99% rust free. Repainted once in original British Racing Green a long time ago. Still looks good from ten feet but really needs refinishing. Paint is tired, cracked and chipped. No appreciable dents or rust. All Chrome is nice. My intention was to fully restore this Healey for next summers driving and show season but my circumstances have unexpectedly changed. The car is seriously for sale. This is not a giveaway but my reserve is more than fair. This is an excellent car to drive nearly as is or to restore.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
