Current bid $12,100 reserve not met, 8 bids, 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $19,350. 96k miles.

Sellers description:
I am listing this Healey for a friend who as the third owner has been driving the car on favorable Michigan weekends for the past 16-years. Owner is building a new house causing him to part with the car. This driver has been maintained to provide dependable weekend driving pleasure. (Exhaust system, water pump, brake servo, rear bumper, trunk floor repair, new out rigger and inner sill. O/D solenoid and switch, rebuilt carbs, King pins, tie rods, fulcrum pins, oil/water gage, new left door glass, New top (small pinch tear) Battery, Head lamp switch, spark wires, front wheel bearings and seals, Brake booster , Brake hoses, Sway bar links, rear bearings, recently Powered coated 72-spoke wheels, and tires). This car starts every time and the O/D works. It has the tonneau, top cover, spare and jack but no tool kit. The doors fit well and the windows operators work. All gages and electrics except for the Tach work. That said, the car is ready for a ground up up restoration. Floorboards and sills appear good but, the right toe-board that was replaced wasn’t a very professional job. The right front fender had some old damage and was repaired. Looks good, but would need to be replaced for concourse.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
