1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MK III, This car is in excellent condition and extremely well priced for the restoration work that has been done and the very low mileage since the engine rebuild. Car number HBJ8L-28412

The car has been garaged for the last 10 yrs and driven May through October. In 2004 the engine was removed and rebuilt. The cylinders were bored, and new pistons installed including new hardened valves, push rods, new cam shaft and a finned cast aluminum oil pan. The car has a new Lockheed brake servo unit, distributor assembly and oil filter housing. Engine work included rear main seal conversion kit, carburators rebuilt with new pins and seats and new fuel pump installed. Radiator was flushed, pressure tested and repainted along with the shroud. A new clutch was installed as well as new rear shocks , brakes and brake lines tested. The interior has been recarpeted, new seat pans, seat foam and leather upholstery installed. The steering wheel and directional signal components have been replaced. Seat belts with a shoulder harness have been installed for both driver and passenger. The trunk has a new lid seal, liner and battery. The exhaust system has been completely replaced with a stainless steel unit. Front and rear lights have been replaced with new Lucas housings and lenses. Since the engine was rebuilt the car has been driven approximately 3,500 miles. The car comes with 72 spoke chrome wheels mounted. Additional parts include fuel pump, coil, original brake servo, lights & lenses, steering wheel and the original painted spoke wheels. Current owner has not driven the car in rain or snow for the last 10 years.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
