25902 was offered for sale on eBay in August 2008 by Phil Newey Cars, La Habra, CA and in September 2014 by Gateway Classic Cars, Houston, TX. The photos show that the VIN plate is not an original factory-issue item, but a replacement. No body or engine serial numbers are included in this entry. Are you sure these numbers on your car match the replacement VIN plate? Are you sure the car you own is really 25902?

Hi, I bought HBJ8L25902 in July 2018 from a Frech guy who imported her in France in 2017. The car is still in France. I'll check the engine serial (currently beeing rebuilt) and will let you know.

Where is located this number on the engine ?

Thanks

Philippe.

Hi,

the engine number on HBJ8L25902 is 29F RU H791.

when I bought the car , it had HS6 carbs, which I recently replace for HD8 . The engine rebuilt is still going on (Nov.2020) , so I can't yet tell you the diference it makes, but I hope to start it before the year end.

Regards

Philippe

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
