Congratulations to this site! Waited for something like that since a long time. My Healey is one from the early Longbridge 100/6 (I`ll enter the dates from the heritage certificate and photos when I`m back home) and was restored from 2004 to 2006 by one of Germanies best specialists (Mr. Stefan Marx) , who by the way was the owner of the (rest of the) car before ... Original colour was healey-blue, I decided to change it (with a bleeding heart) into black over red as I love this combination very much. Looks very "piggy" together with the red interiour! Than I changed it from RHD to LHD, mainly for safety reasons ;-). We tried to keep every original part and kept all the old parts we had to change for optical or safety reasons. Then we put some (modest and original!) modifications on the engine, think we get now something about 140 hp out of it. Beside this very early 6-cylinder Healey I own one of the very early Porsche 911 (March 1965) and one of the very late Mercedes 280 Sl "Pagode" (December 1971) and love to drive every of them! I`m still looking to find out more about the history of my Pig; - in 1957 it was exported to Japan (!), changed it`s colour to red, somehow found his way back to Great Britain and then came to Germany in 1978. Since last year (2006) the cars new home is beautiful Vienna/Austria. Thanks for any further information!
