THIS IS ONE VERY STRONG RUNNING, SOLID HEALEY. THIS IS ONE THAT HAS MANAGED TO ESCAPE THE EVER POPULAR TOTAL RESTORATION. IT HAS NEVER BEEN TAKEN APART AND PUT BACK TOGETHER, RATHER IT HAS BEEN MAINTAINED AND UPGRADED AS NECESSARY. IT CARRIES 40LBS OF OIL PRESSURE AT IDLE AT 185 DEGREE RUNNING TEMPURATURE AND DOES NOT RUN HOT! ALL GUAGES WORK PERFECTLY AS DO ALL LIGHTS AND TURN SIGNALS. WE WENT COMPLETELY THROUGH THE BRAKE SYSTEM FROM MASTER CYLINDER TO BRAKE SHOES, INCLUDING ALL NEW WHEEL CYLINDERS. WE ALSO DID A COMPLETE LUBE SERVICE.
COSMETICALLY YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR BETTER ON AN UNRESTORED EXAMPLE. THE PAINT WAS DONE MANY YEARS AGO (NO CLEAR COAT) AND HAS AGED BEAUTIFULLY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A BLEMISH ON THE "SCOOP" ON THE HOOD. THE INTERIOR IS A NEWER LEATHER KIT FROM MOSS MOTORS. THE TOP IS VERY SERVICABLE WITH NO RIPS OR TEARS. THE SIDE CURTAINS COULD USE FRESH PLEXIGLAS (SLIGHT CRAZING) BUT THE FRAMES AND SEALS ARE OUTSTANDING. THE CHROME IS LIKEWISE OUTSTANDING AND THE WIRE WHEELS ARE TRUE AND CLEAN (NO SHAKE OR SHIMMY). THE TRUNK IS ORIGINAL WITH CORRECT SPARE TIE-DOWN AND LEAD KNOCK OFF HAMMER. UNDER THE HOOD IS ORIGINAL (NEVER PAINTED OR MODIFIED).

Finished in a sporting combination of Colorado Red with Black Leather and contrasting red piping, this BN4 is a sight for sore eyes! In addition to an original, numbers matching motor and 4-speed manual transmission with Overdrive, this car is equipped with many extras: Dual chrome mirrors, Smiths gauges (oil/water, speedo/odo, tach, fuel), locking chrome gas cap, front/rear bumper guards, rubber Austin-Healey floor mats, Smiths heater and defroster, side curtains, full tonneau cover, Triplex laminated windscreen, seatbelts, Lucas Gold coil and stainless steel exhaust!

As Healey enthusiasts know, there were two batches of 100/6s built and this falls well into the first by virtue of the 52939 VIN and 563 body serial number. After being brought over, this 100/6 started life in Alabama but then moved to Georgia and finally Florida before making its way to our showroom. Despite having an older restoration, the car has been lovingly driven and enjoyed and remains fully functional to this day. All instrumentation and accessories work and the motor sounds triumphant with the stainless exhaust system. It has a beefy sound that onlookers won't soon forget! The paint and chrome are both very presentable. The transmission shifts wonderfully with no grinding in any gears and the overdrive has been recently serviced and is fully functional! The supple leather interior looks to have been redyed recently and shows very well! Complete with the car are jack and crank, as well as cloth-covered wiring for the 12V conversion. As a result, the car has increased starting capacity and brighter headlights.
