Greetings,

I need some assistance in finding the current owner or whereabouts of BN2L232869! I purchased this car in 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S.A. as a high school junior and owned it until I went to graduate school. It was a great car and took me to many SCCA races as a spectator in the Midwest U.S. and as a high school senior a buddy and I participated in SCCA road rally's. Thanks to the serial number and the photographs posted of the car there are a few very unique things that I would like to explain to the present owner, in particular the dashboard and where that hood came from. It would be great to have a conversation with him or her. As I side note, I would like to send him or her a copy of the 8" x 10" photo below taken in fall 1968 during a break in an SCCA road rally. I also have the car's original shift knob (Why did we replace those with the walnut shift knobs with the emblem on top!) Somewhere packed away I think I may have the original key fob and an original Healey patch.

My contact information is Don Connelly, d.sarnoff@frontier.com, 828-507-2351 U.S. Eastern Standard Time

Best Regards and thanks for any clues or help in locating the owner.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
