Car to be at auction 1/16
russoandsteele.com/vehicle-details/

Auction description:
1954 Austin Healey 100/4 BN1 Convertible
Consignment # 5068
Auction sale January 27-31, 2016 at Russo and Steele's 16th Annual Scottsdale, Arizona Auction.

This lovely, first-series 1954 Austin-Healey 100/4 BN1 roadster (Chassis BN1-l/151486, Engine Number IB/205595) is a highly desirable early-production example that was built on 27 January 1954. It is the product of a complete chassis-up restoration approximately 6 years ago and has traveled under 1,000 miles since. Retaining the matching engine and chassis numbers per the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust factory record (numbered 2015/1721), this LHD car features a correct Coronet Cream exterior and comes with side curtains.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
