I am looking for information about this car, I was told that it was a Queen Mary limited edition car (one of 250 produced). I am just starting the restoration. I believe I am the 3rd owner. Please let me know.

thanks

Sounds like the car is one of the Coronet Cream coloured cars built between September '53 and end of January '54. The colour was in commemoration of the crowning of Queen Elizabeth in '53. They came with usually red or blue trim. Sort of looks like a coffee colour with extra cream in it.

There was no "Queen Mary" edition.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
