THIS IS THE OLDEST AUSTIN HEALEY RACE CAR IN THE WORLD!!
IT HAS A LONG & WELL DOCUMENTED LOG BOOK OF RACES , FROM CALIF. THROUGH OUT THE GULF ALL THE WAY INTO VA. SEBRING, V.I.R. ETC, THE CAR WAS FIRST TAKEN TO THE GARAGE IN WITCHITA FALLS , TEX. WHERE CARROLL SHELBY WAS UNDER GOING HIS EARLY LIFE WITH AUSTIN HEALEYS.
THIS CAR HAS SOME MUCH GOING FOR IT THAT ITS NOT FUNNY.
THE ORIGINAL OWNER WAS A PLAY BOY UNTIL HIS WIFE CAUGHT HIM PLAYING AROUND & SHOT HIM IN THE BACK & KILLED HIM.

I have bought the -POGO- Healey.I am looking for more informations about the car. the documentation is lost. Does anyone has race results and other informations about the car. I am looking for a copy of the story -Old racers never die (Björn Knudsen). At the moment the Healey will be restored to race specification in the 50th. Paint: old-english white with lobelia blue and on the doors the POGO label.

Hello,
My name is Bruce Block. My siblings and I are having a big 50th Anniversary for our folks in December. We are looking for an Austin Healy in this year range to have for show at this event because that is what our Dad drove back when he met our Mom in Layfayette, Indiana. I know this is just a shot in the dark because I am not sure where you are located, or if you would be interested or if this is even possible? But, my motto that has worked for us so far in this event planning is... "it doesn't hurt to ask!" ha ha.
We are located outside of Beaumont Texas.
I appreciate your time reading this note and I hope it is a possibility we can talk about. Feel free to email me or call me. My cell phone number is 409 656 9295.
Thanks again, Bruce
