This 'home market' big Healey rides on 72-spoke wire wheels and is finished in Red over White with Beige-coloured upholstery. The last fifteen years are said to have not only seen it extensively maintained by renowned marque specialist 'Denis Welch' but also modified to above M specification. The work carried out has included: M specification engine plus lightened flywheel, alloy cylinder head and sump, Derrington manifold, Mallory distributor, high capacity starter, narrow V fan belt system, large core radiator, multi-blade electric fan; BN2 overdrive gearbox; hydraulic diaphragm clutch, high ratio final drive - 3000rpm at 80mph; uprated springs, dampers and roll bar; alloy sump guard and exhaust skid; Avon ZZ tyres. More recently Northern Healey have (a) overhauled the gearbox, (b) restored the front section of the chassis and (c) treated the all-alloy (apart from the bootlid) body to a panel-off respray. On the button and ready for the next owner to enjoy.
PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle does not have a V5 Registration Document, the successful purchaser will need to apply for one in order to register it in their name.
